Dr. Leigh Goodson – September 3, 2021
Wendy Thomas: Our outstanding new Program Manager, Michelle Lozano, benefited from the TRIO program and was recently featured on the news about the program.
Wendy Thomas: Love this!
Whitney Stauffer: Love your Mission/Vision/Values – very easy to digest, great job.
Monica Barczak: Have there been discussions about opening Tulsa Achieves to returning students? What is the biggest barrier to making that happen?
Amy Pulliam: We have an open position on our team – which would be a great entry level position for a recent TCC graduate. Should I contact your career center?
LaDonna Boyd: Does TCC offer on site childcare for students?
LaDonna Boyd: I want to help you with manifesting on site child care partnership – for our students
Kristyan Gilmore: In an effort to diversify the legal profession- Do you have a legal career pathway from a paralegal certificate or associates degree into TU law? If not, who do I contact about offering consulting to help TCC make this happen?
Matt Rodgers: I’d like to express appreciation for the Tulsa Achieves program. I graduated in 2007 and was part of the inaugural program. The program played a large part in graduating debt free with a BS from OSU in 2011.
Mikeale Campbell: Tulsa is starting to lose talent to other states that will let them work remote and get higher pay. It’s definitely tough right now for so many people.
Kristyan Gilmore: Is TCC positioned to receive any of the funding that the K-12 schools received from the Biden administration in discretionary funds, especially because community college students are remediating unprepared students at high levels.
Nancy Hatfield: Great information thank you for the update Leigh and LT team efforts!
Sharon Walsh: Thanks for the great update!
