Honoring those individuals who demonstrate the Heart of Leadership Tulsa through exemplary service to the community

In 2014, Leadership Tulsa established a new Paragon Award to honor its namesake and first recipient, Herald Givens. This award, to be given from time to time by resolution of the Leadership Tulsa executive committee, will honor those individuals who through exemplary service demonstrate the Heart of LT and the tenants of servant leadership through their service to the LT community.
Herald Givens is one of Leadership Tulsa’s greatest champions, from the time he joined LT Class 29 in 2002 until his untimely passing in December 2014. During his 5 terms on the board, he served in almost every board position including board president from 2008-2009. Herald won a Paragon Award for his work with Little Lighthouse and was a charter member of the Leadership Tulsa Legacy Circle. He is deeply missed by the Leadership Tulsa community.
