Leadership Tulsa is once again offering its community service education program to individuals interested in learning more about Tulsa and about ways to make a difference in our community. The Leadership Tulsa flagship program helps individuals build their personal, professional and community leadership skills. Through a series of monthly meetings, participants become familiar with the challenges facing our city, develop the skills to lead effectively, and develop a network to make a difference. New this year is the addition of a peer coaching and alumni advisory component to the program. By engaging with your peers and Leadership Tulsa alumni, you will be better able to achieve the goals you set as a result of your Leadership Tulsa experience.
Tuition for the 10-month program is $2,800 which many employers pay for their participating employees. Scholarships are also available for those who qualify, as well as a 10-month payment plan. LT Class 56 begins in August of 2016 and will conclude in May of 2017.
The LT Class 56 Application is now a fillable form that can be saved at any time. Once the application has been completed, you will need to print out pages 6-9 (page 10 if applicable), include both reference letters, and make 5 copies of all, to be mailed to the LT office.
Applications must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2016 and be accompanied by a $35 application fee. Applications postmarked by the Early Bird Deadline of April 1, 2016 may waive the application fee entirely!
Because the committee selects a diverse cross-section of individuals representing different backgrounds, occupations and interests, it is not possible to accept all qualified applicants each year. Applicants will be notified by the end of June regarding their application status.
If you have questions about the program or the application process, please call the Leadership Tulsa office at 918-477-7079.
